Many announcements were made in the campaign to create awareness about blood disorders

 

Ranchi: For the first time in Jharkhand, the 9th Annual Eastern Hematology Group Congress, the country's biggest scientific conference related to blood disorders, has been organized at Hotel Radisson Blu Ranchi. This conference will run from 23 to 25 May for three days. It is known that this event is being organized in collaboration with Rajendra Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) and Sadar Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand. It reflects the dynamism and continuous development scenario of hematology.

    This program was organized for the first time in Ranchi, Jharkhand on the initiative of Jharkhand's only hematologist Dr. Abhishek Ranjan, Dr. Ajay K. Mahalka, Dr. Shefali Kishore and Civil Surgeon Ranchi Dr. Prabhat Kumar.

Health Minister (Jharkhand Government) Dr. Irfan Ansari, Finance Minister (Jharkhand Government) Radha Krishna Kishore and former Union Minister cum MP Subodh Kant Sahay attended this conference as chief guests.

     Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore welcomed the doctors from other states and all the doctors and health workers who came to the program. We are committed to providing better health facilities to the last person of the state. We have to work in the interest of Jharkhand and work on whatever deficiencies there are and make Jharkhand better in the field of health and education. There should be complete health facilities in the state for the treatment of diseases like bone marrow and cancer. We are working for this. We are trying to open cancer centers in 24 districts of Jharkhand so that it can be detected in the initial stage and people do not have to go outside for treatment.

        The Health Minister directed all private hospitals to follow the health guidelines and in case of death of a patient admitted in the hospital, the procedure should be completed soon and the body should be handed over to the family members. The Health Minister said that the state will soon be given five medical colleges.

The Health Minister made three important announcements

Bone marrow transplant unit will be opened very soon in Sadar Hospital, Ranchi in Jharkhand. Genetic lab will be opened very soon in the state. Anti natal test for pregnant women will be started soon in Sadar Hospital, Ranchi.

      Subodh Kant Sahay (former Union Minister cum MP) thanked Dr. R.K. Jena and Jharkhand. He thanked the only hematologist of Jharkhand Dr Abhishek Ranjan and all the doctors and health workers associated with this program and said that awareness campaigns should be run in every village and city in Jharkhand to spread awareness about blood related disorders and related diseases so that people can get information about blood related disorders and its prevention.

        In Orissa, people were made aware about blood related diseases and its prevention in the form of a campaign, after which there has been a lot of improvement in this field. We should form a team and run an awareness campaign so that the health sector can improve.

      On this occasion, more than 100 senior hematologists, hemato-oncologists, bone marrow transplant doctors and other doctors from all over the country participated. Along with this, pathologists, physicians, pediatricians, gynecologists and doctors and researchers, nurses and health workers from RIMS, Sadar Hospital and other hospitals of the state also participated.
