Conspiracy against Mango drinking water project: Saryu Rai

Jamshedpur:  West MLA Saryu Rai said on Thursday that if the top officials are giving orders and the people below are not following them, then it clearly means that there is a conspiracy going on against the Mango drinking water project. There are some people who do not want the Mango drinking water project to be successful.

He told thousands of people participating in the protest organized at the Deputy Commissioner's office of East Singhbhum that more than 125 crores were spent on the Mango drinking water project but today 75% of the houses in Mango are not getting water. Today, all the motors of their intake well have collapsed except one motor. The motor of the water treatment plant is also burnt. The motors of the tanks are burnt. In the last 4 months, he talked to all the officials in this regard, from the Executive Engineer of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Department and the Deputy Municipal Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation to the Minister, Secretary of the department in Ranchi. They assure every day that a decision has been taken. Now the scheme will run well but on the contrary, the condition of the project is getting worse day by day. There are some people who are conspiring to fail this project.

The MLA said that the law and order situation in Jamshedpur is poor. The women of the city are feeling unsafe. Now they are afraid to come out on the road. They are afraid that if they walk on the road, someone will snatch from them. Jamshedpur police needs to raise its prestige.

Ashutosh Rai, NCP national spokesperson Dr. Pawan Pandey, AJSU district president Kanhaiya Singh, LJP district president Satish Singh, JD (U) district president Subodh Srivastava, BJP leader KP Singh, Nityanand Sinha, and a large number of NDA alliance workers were present on the occasion.
