Officer was sent from jail to RIMS for better treatment

 

Ranchi: The health of IAS Vinay Chaubey, arrested in the liquor scam case, has deteriorated. Vinay Chaubey has been sent from Birsa Munda Central Jail to RIMS for better treatment. He has been admitted under the supervision of Dr. Rishi Tuhin Gudiya, Associate Professor of Medicine Department. Vinay Chaubey has been kept in the paying ward of RIMS.

       The medical board meeting was held on 21 May after the court's direction. The medical board of senior doctors of RIMS recommended Vinay Chaubey's admission to RIMS for better treatment on the basis of documents related to his treatment. He has a serious kidney problem. In the light of the recommendation of the medical board, he was sent to RIMS from Birsa Central Jail on 22 May.

        It is worth mentioning here that Vinay Chaubey and Gajendra Singh were arrested on 20 May. After the arrest, they were produced in the special court of ACB. The court has sent Vinay Chaubey and Gajendra Singh to judicial custody till June 3 (14 days). Earlier, the ACB had interrogated both the officers for about six hours.
