New Delhi | Special Correspondent
Responding to the Motion of Thanks on the President's address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition in the Rajya Sabha and described the next 25 years as 'decisive' for the country. The Prime Minister said that while the country is preparing to build a 'developed India' by 2047, some people, steeped in hatred, are raising slogans like 'Modi, your grave will be dug'. He clarified that the blessings of 140 crore countrymen are his 'protective shield'.
India is Now a Leader, Not a Follower
Taking a dig at the Congress era, the Prime Minister said that earlier the world used to say that 'India missed the bus', but today's India does not wait for any bus, but is leading the global convoy. He said, "We have moved out of the 'Fragile Five' and are rapidly moving towards becoming the world's third largest economy."

'Rise Above Negativity'
Expressing concern over the uproar and behavior of the opposition, the PM said that the level of discussion in the Upper House should have been higher.
