Nomination Process to Begin from Tomorrow, Ward-wise Returning Officers Appointed
The nomination process for Ranchi Municipal Corporation (General) Election 2026 will begin from tomorrow. The district administration has completed all preparations and issued the list of ward-wise Returning Officers to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the election process.
Separate Returning Officers have been appointed for the Mayor’s post as well as for different groups of ward councillor seats. The officers will supervise nomination filing, scrutiny and withdrawal as per the prescribed schedule.
The administration has appealed to all candidates to follow the guidelines issued by the Election Commission and complete the nomination process within the stipulated time.
