“Grave threat to pension; March 25 amendment denies 8th Pay Commission benefits” — M. Z. Khan

Addressing the inaugural session, State Secretary M. Z. He said that widespread protests are underway across the country.

He informed that under the banner of the Forum of Civil Pensioners Association, several activities—including human chains, state-level conventions and dharna at Jantar Mantar—were organised between July and October. A writ petition challenging the amendment was filed in the High Court on 16 October.
