District Administration Holds Flag March to Ensure Security in Ranchi on Durga Puja

Jharkhand/Ranchi: The district administration is taking extensive steps to ensure security and law and order in Ranchi city on the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja. In this regard, today, September 28, 2025, the Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Ranchi, Utkarsh Kumar, Superintendent of Police (City), Ranchi, Paras Rana, and Deputy Superintendent of Police (City), Sadar, conducted a flag march at major intersections in Ranchi city.

The objective of this flag march was to maintain peace and security during the festival, instill confidence in the public, and demonstrate the administration's preparedness to deal with any untoward situation. During the flag march, police deployment and patrolling in key areas were reviewed.

Sub-Divisional Officer Utkarsh Kumar said, "The district administration is fully committed to maintaining peace and harmony in Ranchi city during Durga Puja. Our teams are continuously monitoring the situation so that citizens can celebrate the festival safely and securely."

Superintendent of Police (City) Paras Rana stated that additional police forces have been deployed in all sensitive areas of the city and special surveillance is being maintained at intersections. He appealed to citizens to immediately report any suspicious activity to the police.

The district administration has appealed to all citizens for cooperation so that the Durga Puja festival is celebrated peacefully and enthusiastically.
