Jharkhand/Dhanbad: Jharkhand's Sports and Urban Development Minister Sudipya Sonu has made a major statement on the "I Love Mahadev-I Love Muhammad" controversy raging across the country. He termed it vote bank politics.
On Saturday, during the inauguration ceremony of the LC Road Puja Pandal in Dhanbad, the minister extended his best wishes to the people of the state and the entire country on the occasion of Navratri. He prayed to Mother Goddess that Navratri be celebrated in a peaceful environment in the state and the entire country.
On the controversy surrounding "I Love Mahadev-I Love Muhammad," the minister said that the Constitution of India gives every citizen of this country the right to worship their deity. "In my opinion, this is not a topic of debate; it is a topic of debate for those who want to gain votes through this debate."
It's worth noting that the "I Love Mahadev-I Love Muhammad" controversy is currently raging across the country. Similarly, in Wasseypur of Dhanbad, a large number of people from the Muslim community were seen protesting with placards written 'I Love Muhammad'.
