Legal aid camp organized by NUSRL and DLSA

 

Ranchi: A legal aid camp was organized in the primary school located in Garu Panchayat of Kanke block under the joint aegis of National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) and Ranchi District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi.

       LADC member of Ranchi District Legal Services Authority Virendra Pratap and NUSRL members Rajendra Mahato, Sharda Devi, Babita Kumari, Malti Devi, Raja Verma and Phuleshwari Devi were present in the program. On the other hand, students Ananya Sangra, Aman Ayush, Arya Mukta, Smriti Jha, Stuti Anvi, Nikhileshwari Devnaini, Praharsh and Aman Pandey actively contributed from NUSRL.

      During the camp, the villagers were informed about the free legal aid services available through District Legal Services Authority, Ranchi. Virendra Pratap interacted with the people present and understood their legal problems and gave suggestions for solution. He informed about various schemes of NUSRL and made people aware about issues like motor vehicle accident compensation, child marriage, child labour, ration card, Aadhaar card, labour card and housing scheme.

     Along with the legal aid camp, a free eye check-up camp was organized by Arogya Foundation of India and a free general health check-up camp was organized by RIMS (Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences), Ranchi.
