The Jharkhand government is taking steps towards technology-enabled healthcare services. Dragon Smith, founder and CEO of ACTUVI (USA), has invited Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari and Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Kumar to Dallas, Texas. During this visit, scheduled for May, the team will study modern medical infrastructure, digital health systems, and artificial intelligence-based diagnostic methods.
Ajay Kumar participated on behalf of the department at the International Health-Tech Summit held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. According to the department's plan, medical colleges will be connected to the AI-enabled system in the first phase, and district and Sadar hospitals in the second phase. This will enable early detection of diseases like cancer, heart disease, and stroke, and provide faster and more accurate treatment to patients.
