JMM Intensifies Counterattack on BJP’s Allegations
⚫ Pandey accuses BJP of spreading misinformation to malign Jharkhand

Reacting sharply to BJP National President J.P. Nadda’s recent statement in Deoghar, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) launched a strong counterattack. JMM General Secretary Vinod Pandey said BJP leaders do not understand Jharkhand’s political realities and continue to make baseless claims aimed at misleading the public.
Stop Using ‘Infiltration’ to Undermine Santhal Identity
Pandey accused the BJP of repeatedly raising the infiltration issue for political gain.
He stated:
“Santhal Pargana’s identity, culture, and traditions are threatened more by BJP’s divisive politics, not by any so-called infiltration. The BJP must answer—after ruling at the Centre for 18 years, what has it actually done to stop infiltration?”
‘Calling Jharkhand a Crime State Reflects BJP’s Mental Bankruptcy’
Pandey said:
“It was during BJP rule that Jharkhand saw the highest levels of Naxal violence and economic crimes. The same party is now lecturing on law and order. Nadda ji should check the data—Jharkhand’s crime rate is lower than the national average.”
Pandey Hits Back on Corruption Allegations
He further stated:
“Before accusing anyone, BJP should look at its own corruption mountain. The ‘ED–BJP connection’ is being discussed nationwide. Our government has never interfered in any investigation. If any officer is guilty, the law is taking its course. But why do ED and CBI hesitate to act against corrupt officials in BJP-ruled Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Haryana?”
BJP Only Cuts Ribbons, Work Belongs to Others—Pandey
According to Pandey:
“From AIIMS to medical colleges—most of these projects were approved during UPA governments. BJP only cuts ribbons; the actual work is done by others.”
‘We Invite BJP Leaders to Visit Jharkhand’s Villages’
Issuing an open challenge, Pandey said:
“Visit the villages of Santhal, Kolhan, and Palamu for even a day. You will see clearly which government’s policies people appreciate and which they reject.”
