Ranchi. On December 24: on the eve of the birth anniversary (December 25) of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the State BJP organized 'Deepotsav' (Festival of Lights) programs at the State Office and all District Offices.
Key Events:
* Deepotsav: The lighting ceremony was held at the State Office, all District Offices, and the Ranchi Metropolitan unit also held a 'Deepotsav' at the statue installed in the Jharkhand Assembly premises. State leaders, office bearers, district presidents, and booth workers participated.
* Statue Cleaning: Prior to the 'Deepotsav', the statues of Atal Ji across the entire state, including the one at the Assembly premises, were cleaned.
* Jayanti Program (Dec 25): Tomorrow, on the occasion of his birthday, 'Atal Smriti Diwas' will be organized at the booth level. Tributes will be paid, and discussions will be held on his personality and works. A photo exhibition on Atal Ji's life will also be held at all District Offices.
* Atal Smriti Sammelan: An Atal Smriti Sammelan (Memorial Conference) will be organized in all assembly constituencies from December 25 to 31. Senior leaders including Babulal Marandi, Aditya Sahu, Dr. Ravindra Kumar Ray, and former Chief Ministers will participate as chief speakers.

* Aditya Sahu (State Working President, MP): He stated that revered Atal Ji was a source of light himself, who illuminated the country and the world with his personality, works, and thoughts. BJP workers are dedicated to serving the nation and society based on his ideals.
* Dr. Ravindra Kumar Ray (National Co-Convener): He emphasized that if Atal Ji had not been there, the dream of a separate Jharkhand state might not have been realized, a fact the people of Jharkhand will never forget.
*Karmaveer Singh (Organizational General Secretary): He described Atal Ji as an able organizer, leader, poet, and thinker who elevated the BJP's ideology from the ground to the sky.
Hundreds of workers, including Chief Whip Naveen Jaiswal and Rakesh Prasad, were present at the event.
