Filaria Free Campaign Launched in Ranchi, Target to Provide Medicine to 5.57 Lakh People
Ranchi: Under the direction of Deputy Commissioner Manjunath, the Filaria Eradication Campaign has been intensified in the district. Deputy Development Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvaniya inaugurated the district-level campaign by lighting a lamp at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Kanke. The campaign will run from February 10th to 25th, 2026, in Rahe, Sonahatu, Tamar, and Kanke blocks. The target is to administer medicine to 557,970 people in the four blocks. The medicine will be distributed at 619 booths. Officials declared the medicine safe and urged all citizens to consume it.
