Karma Yoga will build a strong India: President Draupadi Murmu
New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu launched the Brahma Kumaris' nationwide campaign, "Karma Yoga for a Strong India," on Saturday while inaugurating the All India Conference in New Delhi. She also launched the silver jubilee celebrations of the Om Shanti Retreat Center in Gurugram.
In her address, the President said that for balanced and holistic development, it is essential to integrate moral values and spirituality with material progress. Economic and technological advancement is the foundation of a nation's prosperity, but in the absence of morality, it can lead to social imbalance and exploitation. She warned that technology without moral values can be harmful to humanity.
The President said that spirituality fosters integrity, compassion, and service, and that Karma Yoga inspires citizens to selfless work. This can make India a model for a value-based and just society.
