Ranchi: A two-day international conference, “Voter Registration and Voter Registers 2026,” will be held at NUSRL, Ranchi, on September 2 and 3.
Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar said that 57 research papers have been selected from 230 abstracts received from India and abroad. The technical sessions will focus on voter registration, electoral roll management, digitisation, voter inclusion and democratic participation.
The conference aims to bring electoral management experience and academic research onto a common platform and identify better practices to make voter registration and electoral roll management more effective, inclusive and reliable.
