Ranchi: The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has launched sealing proceedings against 18 coaching institutes found operating without valid municipal trade licences.
During a special inspection drive, officials checked the trade licences of 70 coaching institutes across different wards and found 18 operating without the mandatory licence. The institutes had earlier been given three days’ notice to obtain the required licence, but failed to comply within the stipulated period.
The institutes facing action include MBA Achievers, Gravity Education, National CLAT Academy, Master Minds, Pages Library, The Blackboard, AKS Academy and DCUBE Classes, among others.
The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has warned that strict action will be taken against any commercial establishment operating without a valid municipal trade licence.
