Ranchi, September 1: The nomination process for the 2026–27 session elections of the Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FJCCI) was completed on Tuesday. After scrutiny by the election committee, 75 out of 86 nominations for the Executive Committee were found valid. All 9 nominations for Regional Vice-President posts were also declared valid.
Two nominations—Monika Agrawal and Shorya Khandelwal—were rejected during scrutiny as the names of the proposed members were not mentioned in the nomination forms. Six candidates have been asked to submit the required documents by the stipulated deadline.
The last date for withdrawal of nominations is September 3, 2026, up to 3 PM. The final list of candidates will be released after the withdrawal process.
9 Candidates for Regional Vice-President Posts
The nine valid nominations are:
- Amrish Singh Sanyal – Kolhan Division
- Vijay Anand Moonka – Kolhan Division
- Vinay Kumar Agarwal – North Chhotanagpur Division
- Uday Shankar Dubey – Palamu Division
- Amit Kumar Jaishwal – Palamu Division
- Akash Pandey – Santhal Pargana Division
- Rajesh Agarwal – Santhal Pargana Division
- Rajesh Kumar Mahto – South Chhotanagpur Division
- Damodar Kumar Kasera – South Chhotanagpur Division
The election committee’s Chairman Anchal Kingar and Co-Chairman Pawan Sharma said that the growing participation of the business community in the election reflects the increasing popularity of FJCCI and the confidence of traders in the chamber.
