Ranchi, September 2, 2026: Arpita Mahila Mandal, CCL, organised a welfare programme on Wednesday to support economically weaker and needy people by providing them opportunities for self-employment.
Under the guidance of Arpita Mahila Mandal, CCL Ranchi Chairperson Preeti Singh, 32 selected beneficiaries were provided vegetable and chaat carts to help them start small businesses and earn a dignified livelihood.
The initiative aims to promote self-reliance by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for people from economically weaker sections. Along with the carts, the beneficiaries were also provided bags containing grocery items and food packets as immediate assistance.
Speaking on the occasion, Preeti Singh said that supporting needy people should not be limited to providing immediate relief. Creating opportunities for self-employment and helping beneficiaries become financially independent is also an important objective of Arpita Mahila Mandal.
She said that even a small business can become the foundation of a stable livelihood and a better future for a family.
The programme witnessed active participation from the CCL headquarters as well as all 15 Mahila Samitis. The initiative brought a sense of hope and confidence among the beneficiaries.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Arpita Mahila Mandal, saying that the carts and other assistance would help them start their businesses and earn a respectable livelihood for their families.
The initiative reflects Arpita Mahila Mandal’s commitment to service, social responsibility, empowerment and self-reliance, while providing meaningful economic support to weaker sections of society.
