New Delhi, September 2, 2026: Jharkhand Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj Minister Deepika Pandey Singh is on a visit to Delhi, where she met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Organisation General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, and other senior party leaders.
During the meetings, discussions were held on expanding and strengthening the party organisation, the functioning of the state government, Congress initiatives on public issues, and the current political situation.
Minister Deepika Pandey Singh briefed the central leadership on various ongoing political and public issues in Jharkhand. The discussions also focused on the challenges faced by people during the SIR process, safeguarding citizens' right to vote, and the strategy to counter what the Congress described as the BJP's alleged conspiracy.
The central leadership discussed the Congress's role on these issues and provided guidance on the future political and organisational strategy of the party.
