Jharkhand is known for its natural richness and tribal culture, and as such, the majority of its products are natural. Tribal communities are very simple and hardworking. Currently, many organizations are engaging them and developing their own businesses.
Ragi laddus and other food products are selling well at the pavilion. Several organizations are sourcing ragi from approximately 26,000 farmers, processing it, and distributing it to various parts of Jharkhand. They are also distributing it online to all corners of the country. Similarly, pickles, jellies, and chocolates made from mushrooms are also attracting visitors. Due to being natural, pickles of jackfruit, footfruit, ol, mahua, bamboo karela, tamarind, sanghan have become the center of attraction. Due to the current lifestyle, people's emphasis on organic products, mahua, ragi, jamun powder and vinegar are also being sold in large quantities. The natural products displayed in the Jharkhand pavilion are attracting people.
Secretary of the Ministry of Food and Processing, Government of India, Avinash Purushottam Das Joshi and Joint Secretary Devesh Deval visited the Jharkhand pavilion set up at World Food India on Saturday and appreciated the products displayed.
On this occasion, the Managing Director of JIADA and the Director of the Industries Department, Government of Jharkhand informed them about all the products in the pavilion.
