Jharkhand/Ranchi: A Government of India team inspected various health activities under the ongoing Healthy Women, Empowered Family Campaign in Ranchi district on Friday. The team visited Ayushman Arogya Mandir Tigra, Guru, and Lalgutwa in Ratu block, Ranchi, and Ayushman Arogya Mandir Thakurgaon and Primary Health Center Khalari in Budhmu block to review the campaign's activities.
The team inspected all health check-up stalls and interacted with beneficiaries, listening to their problems and suggestions. School students in Budhmu block were screened for sickle cell anemia. Additionally, on World Contraception Day, women and others were counseled on family planning methods and basket choices.
Under this campaign, health awareness programs and screenings (diabetes, hypertension, TB, sickle cell anemia, cancer screening, ANC checkup) are being conducted daily for the target group at all Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and Community Health Centers.
District Program Manager, Coordinator, Medical Officer, ANM and other health workers were present on the occasion.
