DLSA team conducts surprise inspection of Legal Aid Clinics in Budhmu and Khalari; emphasis placed on delivering legal aid to the needy

Acting on the directives of the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA), a team from the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ranchi, conducted a surprise inspection on Saturday of all Legal Aid Clinics located in the Budhmu and Khalari blocks. The objective of the inspection was to review the functioning of the clinics and ensure the provision of better and effective legal aid to the general public.
The DLSA team comprised LADC members Virendra Pratap and Anup Kumar. They instructed the Para-Legal Volunteers (PLVs) working at the clinics to ensure the availability of banners, posters, pamphlets, and leaflets so that visitors could easily access information regarding the District Legal Services Authority and the free legal services provided.
During the inspection, Virendra Pratap emphasized the importance of disseminating information about various public welfare schemes run by NALSA and JHALSA to the general public. Meanwhile, Anup Kumar urged the volunteers to listen carefully to the grievances of the needy, the poor, and the marginalized sections of society visiting the clinics, and to forward their applications directly to the DLSA Ranchi office to ensure timely judicial assistance.
DLSA staff member Monu Kumar and PLVs from the respective areas also played a significant role in this inspection drive and assisted the team.
DLSA appealed to all PLVs to connect as many people as possible in their respective areas with free legal aid schemes, ensuring that justice reaches everyone in need.
