“Visit a Shiva Temple Daily; Devotion to Shiva Brings Peace to Life”: Pandit Pradeep Mishra
Ranchi: On the fifth day of the *Shri Shiv Mahapuran Katha* (discourse) held at the venue in Sukurhutu, Ranchi, Pandit Pradeep Mishra emphasized the significance of devotion to Lord Shiva and urged devotees to visit a Shiva temple every day. He stated that devotion to Shiva infuses a human's life with peace, positivity, and spiritual energy. The spiritual leader remarked that for any individual who remembers Lord Shiva with a sincere heart, the tribulations of life gradually begin to dissipate.
During the discourse, while eloquently describing the divine glory of Lord Pashupatinath, he affirmed that Lord Shiva is the protector of all living beings. He appealed to the devotees to regularly engage in worship, *bhajans* (devotional songs), *kirtans* (chanting), and the adoration of Shiva. The entire atmosphere at the venue remained steeped in devotion, resonating with chants of “Har Har Mahadev.”
Despite heavy rains and stormy winds, the faith of the devotees remained unshaken. Even amidst the inclement weather, the devotees stood their ground at the venue and continued to listen to the discourse with unwavering devotion. Appealing to the devotees to maintain patience, the spiritual leader assured them that any interruptions caused to the discourse would be compensated for on the following day.
Vivek Kumar and Vinita Kumari served as the principal hosts (*Yajmans*) for the event. The discourse witnessed the presence of a large number of devotees, social activists, and dignitaries. The organizing committee and the local administration efficiently managed various arrangements, including security, medical facilities, drinking water, and parking.
