Mayor Roshni Khalkho Completes Self-Enumeration for Census 2027; Appeals to Citizens to Follow Suit

Ranchi Municipal Corporation Mayor Roshni Khalkho completed the self-enumeration process for herself and her family members under Census 2027 on Thursday, utilizing her mobile phone.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor explained that Census 2027 has been divided into two phases. The first phase is currently underway, running from May 1 to May 15, during which citizens can upload their personal details via the online 'Census Self-Enumeration Portal' to obtain a unique identification number.
She stated that in the second phase—scheduled from May 16 to June 14—enumerators will conduct door-to-door visits to collect data. Consequently, citizens who have already completed the self-enumeration process will be able to conclude the census formalities with ease simply by providing their unique identification number to the enumerator. This approach will not only save time but also ensure the collection of accurate data.
Mayor Roshni Khalkho appealed to the residents of the city to complete the self-enumeration process themselves and to help raise awareness about this initiative among others.
