Navratri Festival Celebrated with Joy and Fervor; Tirupati Apartments Resounds with Devotion
The nine-day grand festival of Navratri was celebrated with deep reverence, devotion, and enthusiasm within the premises of Tirupati Apartments, located on Kanke Road in Ranchi. At the Shri Durga Temple, daily rituals involving formal worship and *Havan* (sacrificial fire ceremonies) were conducted amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras. On *Mahanavami*, the special adornment (*Shringar*) of Goddess Durga became the focal point of attraction. On this auspicious occasion, *Kanya Pujan* (worship of young girls) was performed; the girls were offered food and gifts, and their blessings were sought. This was followed by the organization of a grand *Bhandara* (community feast), where hundreds of devotees partook of the *Prasad* (sacred food offering). Men and women of the society actively participated throughout the entire event. Former Secretary Sanjay Sarraf stated that this event is organized annually with the objective of promoting religious and cultural values.
