Model School Entrance Exam Conducted Amidst Strict Arrangements
Ranchi: The entrance examination conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) for admission into Class 6 (Session 2026–27) at the 82 Model Schools—operated by the Jharkhand Education Project Council—was held peacefully across the state on Saturday. The examination was conducted at 60 centers across 19 districts, witnessing a strong turnout of students.
The exam was held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and consisted of multiple-choice questions totaling 100 marks. It covered subjects including English, Mathematics, and Social Sciences. A merit list will be prepared based on the examination results, and selected students will subsequently be enrolled.
Thanks to the active involvement of the District Administration, the Education Department, and the Center Superintendents, a malpractice-free environment was ensured at all examination centers. The objective of these Model Schools is to provide quality education through the English medium to meritorious students residing in rural areas.
