Sources have revealed that Nishan Qamar, Managing Director of the Agricultural Marketing Board, has issued strict orders to Secretary Krishna Kanhaiya that the shopkeepers of the Pandra Agricultural Produce Market Committee have repeatedly ignored departmental notices and have not paid their outstanding rent. Therefore, the outstanding rent of Rs. 3.25 crore should be deposited within 15 days. If the rent remains outstanding after 15 days, the rent agreement should be cancelled. When a reporter from M Bharat 24 News Live asked Ranchi Chamber President Sanjay Mahuri about this, he stated that all shopkeepers whose rent is outstanding will be informed of the instructions to deposit the rent within 15 days as soon as possible. Furthermore, when asked, he added that if all shopkeepers are unable to pay the rent within 15 days, or some are left out due to some urgent reason, the matter of extending the time by a few days will be raised with the Managing Director.
