Jharkhand/Ranchi: As directed by the Transport Department, Jharkhand, Ranchi, two days special camp were organized on September 24, 2025, and September 25, 2025, jointly by the District Transport Office, Ranchi, and the Traffic Police, Ranchi, to process e-challans issued for violations of various sections of the Motor Vehicles Act.
During the two days, a total of 691 e-challans were processed, including 253 e-challans in offline mode and 438 e-challans in online mode. A total revenue of ₹666,700 was collected through this process.
This initiative was organized to promote road safety and ensure compliance with the Motor Vehicles Act. Through this camp, the Transport Department and Traffic Police encouraged the drivers to follow the rules and settle the challan on time.
