Jharkhand/Ranchi: On September 26, 2025, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, attended the inauguration ceremony of the OCC Club Pandal as the chief guest and inaugurated the pandal by lighting a lamp.
On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order), Ranchi, Rajeshwar Nath Alok, Sub-Divisional Officer, Sadar, Ranchi, Utkarsh Kumar, all members of the Puja Committee, along with dignitaries and local citizens were present.
The inauguration ceremony was held at the OCC Club premises, where the pandal was decorated in a grand and attractive manner. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of lamps and chanting of mantras.
Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri praised the efforts of the Puja Committee and described the event as a symbol of social unity and cultural prosperity. He said, "Such events not only preserve our cultural heritage but also promote mutual brotherhood and harmony in society."
Additional District Magistrate Rajeshwar Nath Alok, emphasizing the importance of law and order, appealed to all citizens to celebrate the festival peacefully and safely. Sub-Divisional Officer Utkarsh Kumar also congratulated the Puja Committee for the success of the event and assured all possible support from the administration.
The Puja Committee President welcomed all guests and provided information about the pandal's theme and preparations. He explained that this year's pandal showcases local art and culture while also promoting the message of environmental protection. Cultural programs were also organized at the event, which captivated the audience.
The district administration has made all necessary arrangements for security and traffic management during the festival. The Deputy Commissioner urged citizens to follow the guidelines issued by the administration so that the festival can be conducted smoothly and safely.
