Ran the government with RJD-Congress for a few days, separated when they started creating problems: Nitish Kumar


Bihar/Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday participated in a dialogue program with workers in the premises of DVM Global School in Papaur village of Pachrukhi block of Siwan district. On this occasion, he gave information about the development work being done in the state by the central and state government.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while addressing the party workers, said that the previous government did not do any work. Earlier the situation was very bad. We were with them for a few days. But when they started creating problems, we separated from them.

He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal United (JDU) have an old relationship. We are working together for the development of the state and the country. We will always be together. Since the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government was formed on November 24, 2005, we have been engaged in the development of Bihar. Today there is rule of law in the state. There is rapid development in all areas. From the very beginning, special attention has been given to the field of education and health.

The Chief Minister said that roads, bridges have been constructed on a large scale in the state. Under the Seven Nischay, the work of providing electricity to every house, tap water to every house, toilet to every house and connecting toll plazas with paved roads has been completed.

He said that it was decided to provide 10 lakh government jobs and 10 lakh employment to the youth in the year 2020. Till now, 10 lakh jobs and 39 lakh employment have been given to the youth. More than 50 lakh jobs and employment will be given before the elections. Now it has been decided that one crore youth will be given jobs/employment in the next 5 years.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that recently a new scheme 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana' has been approved for the employment of women, under which an amount of Rs 10 thousand will be given to one woman from every house to start employment. Those whose employment will run well will also be given additional assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh. This work will start from this September. Along with this, free land and special assistance will be given for setting up new industries in Bihar.

The Chief Minister said that the Central Government is giving full support in the development of Bihar. In the Union Budget of the year 2024, a large amount was announced to be given to Bihar as special economic assistance for roads, industry, health, tourism, flood control. Along with this, in the Union Budget of February, 2025, Makhana Board, establishment of airport in Bihar, financial assistance for Western Kosi Canal etc. have been announced.

He said that the Central Government has been organizing Khelo India Youth Games in some states of the country since the year 2018. This year Khelo India Youth Games were organized in Bihar which is a matter of pride. We express our gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for all these works.
