National award-winning science broadcaster Sarika Ghaaru, while giving information about this astronomical event caused by the Earth coming between the Moon and the Sun and in a straight line, said that due to the Earth coming in between, the sunlight does not reach the Moon directly. This creates a situation of lunar eclipse. At this time, red waves reach the Moon while passing through the atmospheric layers of the Earth, due to which the Moon looks red. Due to this color, it is also called blood moon.
Sarika Ghaaru told that as per Indian time, the partial eclipse will start from 09:57:09 pm. After this, the full lunar eclipse will start appearing at 11:48 pm. The state of total eclipse will last till 12:22:51 am. After this, the partial eclipse will continue again, which will end at 01:26:31 am.
Sarika told that in this astronomical event, the totality duration or duration of the eclipse will be about one hour 22 minutes, whereas the totality duration of the lunar eclipse in 2022 was 1 hour 25 minutes. In this way, this is the longest total lunar eclipse after 2022. The special thing is that no special instrument like telescope or eclipse glasses will be required to see it. It can be seen with naked eyes only.
