Now district hospitals will be strengthened – Government is giving facilities like private hospitals

Ranchi: Tuesday was a special day in the health sector of Jharkhand. Under the National Health Mission (NHM), Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari himself handed over appointment letters to 126 specialist medical officers during a ceremony held at IPH Auditorium, Namkum. This is the biggest appointment of specialist doctors till date, which is being considered a revolutionary initiative of the government.

  Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari said that our dream is to make Jharkhand a Medicos City. We are moving forward with the thought that every person should get better treatment in his district. Newly appointed doctors are being given not only respect but also responsibility. Now every doctor is the 'Health Minister' of his hospital.

  Dr. Ansari said that for the first time the government is giving bid based salary and posting of choice to specialist doctors. This will increase the morale of the doctors and improve the quality of service.

  On this occasion, many senior officials including Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Ajay Kumar Singh, NHM Director Shashi Prakash Jha, Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap, Managing Director JMHIDPCL Abu Imran were present.

@ Three new medical colleges in Jharkhand

@ Foundation stone laid for RIMS-2 – to be Asia's largest hospital

@ Dedicated super specialty hospital for neuro and nephro

@ Launch of bike ambulance service

@ Centenary celebration of Rinpas

 During the program, the awareness chariot was flagged off in 9 districts of the state, starting the filariasis eradication campaign. Along with this, the health fair organized in the RCH campus was also inaugurated, in which facilities like BP, sugar, eye checkup, medicine distribution, Ayushman Bharat and Aabha card making are being provided.

 Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh said that this appointment is not just a job, it is a mission - so that expertise reaches every corner of the state and Sadar Hospital provides facilities like private hospitals. Sadar Hospital of Ranchi is being counted among the top models of the country. The Uttar Pradesh government has requested for a presentation on our innovation.
