The heat of the investigation of the liquor scam reaches other states

 

Ranchi: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), which is investigating the much-discussed liquor scam in Jharkhand, has now expanded the scope of its investigation beyond the state boundaries.

      In this connection, the ACB has issued summons to many individuals and institutions from Delhi, Haryana and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh. According to the information received, the ACB has summoned a total of 15 people for questioning, including the current excise secretary of Jharkhand Manoj Kumar and the recently retired then excise commissioner Amit Prakash. All of them will be questioned after June 8. This investigation is progressing rapidly under the leadership of ACB's investigating officer Santosh Kumar and it is believed that many more big revelations related to this scam may happen in the coming days.
