Large consignment of fake liquor recovered

 

Godda: Police has got a big success. A large consignment of fake liquor being sent from Jharkhand to Bihar has been recovered by Godda Police from Mufassil police station area. According to the information received, 502 bottles of fake liquor along with the material used in making fake liquor have also been recovered and arrests have also been made. Police Inspector Madhusudan Modak disclosed. Giving information, he said that on June 2, 2025 at 2:40 pm, the police received secret information that illegal fake liquor is being manufactured at Anand Mahato, age about 38 years, police station Godda in village Parspani Bada Tola. The said information was given to the Superintendent of Police and a raiding team was formed under his direction.

      At the same time, on the night of June 2, 2025, when the police reached Anand Mahato's house, some people started running away as soon as they saw the police vehicle. But one was chased and caught by the raiding team and others managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness. When the arrested youth was asked his name and address, he told his name as Anand Mahato. When his house was searched, a huge amount of illegal fake English liquor, spirit, empty bottles, containers, lids, pipes, motors, brand stickers were recovered. A case has been registered and raids are being conducted against other absconding persons.
