Minor dies after coming in contact with electric wire in Chanho

 

Chanho: 13-year-old Arun Oraon, a resident of Pipratoli under the police station of the block area, died after coming in contact with an electric wire. The incident happened on Saturday evening. According to the information, Arun had gone to graze goats on the banks of the river a little away from the village. He was playing with his friends on the banks of the river, during which he climbed a tree and came in contact with the electric wire stuck to the branch of that tree. The wire was tied to the branch of the tree by a farmer for irrigation. The villagers gathered when the friends made noise, after which he was brought down from the tree and taken to a private hospital located in Mission, where the doctors declared him dead. Arun was a sixth class student in the village school. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire village after the incident.
