Nemra, Ramgarh, October 10, 2026: Several prominent political leaders, public representatives and senior administrative officials met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at his ancestral residence in Nemra, Ramgarh district, on Saturday to pay tribute to his late mother, Rupi Soren. Those who visited included former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Jharkhand Minister Yogendra Prasad, former minister Alamgir Alam, Purnia MP Pappu Yadav, Giridih MP Chandra Prakash Choudhary, Khunti MP Kali Charan Munda, MLAs Anoop Singh and Mamata Devi, former MLA Purnima Neeraj Singh, Congress state in-charge K. Raju, Congress state president Keshav Mahato Kamlesh, Jharkhand Information Commissioners Shivpujan Pathak and Tanuj Khatri, along with other MPs, MLAs, public representatives and Indian Administrative Service officers.
The visitors offered floral tributes to the portrait of the late Rupi Soren and expressed their condolences to Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his family. They also extended their support and comfort to the bereaved family during this difficult time.
