Newly Appointed BJP Mahila Morcha State President Takes Charge, Pledges to Strengthen the Organisation
Ranchi, September 12: Dr. Seema Singh, the newly appointed State President of the BJP Mahila Morcha, formally assumed charge at a ceremony held at the Jharkhand BJP State Office. State Vice President Bal Mukund Sahay, State General Secretary Ganesh Mishra, former Mahila Morcha State President Aarti Singh, State Spokesperson Aarti Kujur, Ranchi Mayor Roshni Khalkho and hundreds of party workers were present on the occasion. As Dr. Seema Singh took charge, the auditorium echoed with applause from the gathering.
Addressing the programme, State General Secretary Ganesh Mishra said that women are symbols of strong determination and immense strength. He said women who can transform their homes through their dedication also have the ability to contribute to building a developed India and making the country a global leader.
He stressed that the dream of a developed India cannot be fulfilled without greater participation of women. The goal of a developed India can be achieved only when men and women work together. Describing Dr. Seema Singh as a dedicated and determined party leader, Mishra said she had successfully fulfilled every responsibility assigned to her by the organisation.
State Vice President Bal Mukund Sahay congratulated Dr. Seema Singh on taking up her new responsibility and said that a position in the organisation is not meant for prestige but is a responsibility and duty that must be fulfilled. He said the BJP has consistently worked towards empowering and promoting women.
Referring to the welfare initiatives of the Narendra Modi government, Sahay said women remain at the centre of several government schemes. He said the government is committed to helping women become self-reliant, take up self-employment and stand on their own feet while supporting their families.
Former State President and State Spokesperson Aarti Kujur said that the BJP Mahila Morcha has always been strong. She expressed appreciation for the steps taken by the Narendra Modi government to empower women and said that providing 33 per cent reservation to women is a major step in this direction. She expressed confidence that women across the country are ready to write a new chapter of progress.
Outgoing State President Aarti Singh said that everyone must work together to take the organisation to greater heights. She said women have always strengthened and enriched the organisation through their capabilities and expressed confidence that Dr. Seema Singh would further strengthen the Jharkhand BJP Mahila Morcha through her organisational skills.
After assuming charge, newly appointed State President Dr. Seema Singh said that the responsibility entrusted to her by the top leadership would be fulfilled with the collective efforts of all party workers. She said she accepts the new assignment not as a position, but as a major responsibility towards service, the organisation and society.
Dr. Singh said that the hard work of all women workers is the organisation’s greatest strength and that the future structure of the organisation would be built upon the strong foundation created by them. She assured the gathering that she would make every effort to live up to the responsibility and trust placed in her.
Appealing to all women workers, Dr. Singh said everyone would have to work collectively to strengthen the organisation and empower women. She declared that increasing women’s participation in the organisation would be her top priority.
