Ranchi, September 21, 2026: As part of Swachhata Hi Seva-2026, a cleanliness pledge programme was organised at the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) headquarters at Darbhanga House, Ranchi, on Monday. Senior officials and employees of CCL took a pledge to make cleanliness a habit and a collective responsibility.
Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) Chandra Shekhar Tiwari, Director (Planning & Projects) Anup Hanjura and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar were present at the programme. General Managers, Heads of Departments, officers and a large number of employees also participated.
Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra administered the cleanliness pledge to the officials and employees. Thereafter, the directors and the Chief Vigilance Officer jointly flagged off the Swachhata Awareness Chariot.
The awareness chariot will travel to various intersections, schools, colleges and localities across Ranchi to spread awareness about cleanliness and encourage people to actively participate in the campaign.
The theme of Swachhata Hi Seva-2026 is “Participation in Cleanliness; Clean India, Developed India.” The campaign aims to promote collective participation and a sense of responsibility towards cleanliness.
Under Swachhata Hi Seva-2026, CCL is also organising various cleanliness and awareness programmes across all its coalfields in addition to the headquarters. Through these activities, the company is seeking to sensitise people about the importance of cleanliness and encourage greater public participation in maintaining a clean environment.
