Operation Vajra: 8 Illegal Warehouses and a Drug Manufacturing Factory Busted in Bihar

In a major operation dubbed 'Operation Vajra', the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) busted eight illegal warehouses and one illicit drug manufacturing unit across Gaya and Masaurhi (Patna) in Bihar.
A massive quantity of counterfeit and banned medicines was seized during the operation, including 68,200 Tramadol tablets, 21,373 Buprenorphine injections, and 52,542 bottles of Codeine syrup. Machinery, chemicals, and other equipment were also confiscated from the illegal factory.
The CBN reported that 90 cases have been registered, three illegal labs dismantled, and 121 individuals arrested so far this year. The agency affirmed its commitment to continuing strict action against organized drug trafficking and illicit drug manufacturing.
