Ranchi, August 13, 2026: Former Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) Chairman L. Khiangte, who is currently in judicial custody in connection with the alleged recruitment irregularities case, has approached the court seeking bail.
His bail petition was scheduled to be heard on Thursday before the CID Special Court. However, the hearing could not take place as the court did not sit. The court has now fixed August 25 as the next date of hearing.
