Ranchi's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) held a meeting with local intellectuals, public representatives, councilors, and social workers in the Lower Bazar area on Monday as part of the second phase of the 'Jan-Vartalap' (public interaction) program to discuss local issues. Detailed deliberations took place regarding law and order, anti-drug campaigns, social security, and other significant local matters.
Attendees praised the police's public interaction initiative, describing it as an effective medium for fostering better coordination between the public and the police. They assured the police of their full cooperation in raising awareness against substance abuse, maintaining law and order, and fulfilling social responsibilities.
In view of the upcoming month of Sawan, special priority was given to the safety and convenience of Kanwar pilgrims during the meeting. Discussions focused on ensuring better arrangements, smooth traffic flow, and the provision of necessary amenities along the Kanwar Yatra routes. The SSP instructed the concerned Station House Officer (SHO) to take strict action against anti-social elements, maintain special surveillance around schools, colleges, and educational institutions, and increase regular patrolling.
The event was attended by the City SP, Traffic SP, the Lower Bazar SHO, as well as several councilors, social workers, and prominent citizens of the area. I can also prepare YouTube thumbnail headlines and social media captions for this if you wish.
