According to reports, ultrasounds for pregnant women were being conducted using a portable ultrasound machine without valid registration in a lane near Ravi Steel Chowk, Pandra. Following a tip-off, the raid was conducted under the instructions of the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Prabhat Kumar.
