Rigorous Preparations for Excise Constable Examination in Ranchi; Robust Security Arrangements in Place
The Ranchi district administration remains fully vigilant regarding the successful conduct of the Excise Constable Competitive Examination, scheduled to be held on April 12, 2026, by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission. Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate Manjunath Bhajantri held a review meeting with officials at the Aryabhatta Auditorium and issued necessary directives. He instructed officials to ensure the deployment of adequate police forces, flying squads, and patrolling magistrates at all examination centers. A prohibitory zone will be enforced within a 500-meter radius of the examination centers, and strict action will be taken against any form of cheating or malpractice. Instructions were also issued to ensure the availability of basic amenities for the candidates. The administration expressed confidence that the examination would be conducted in a peaceful, fair, and transparent manner.
