200-Bed Super Specialty Block to be Built at Ranchi Sadar Hospital; Healthcare Services to Attain a New Dimension
A major initiative has been undertaken to upgrade healthcare services in Ranchi. During a meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Ajay Kumar Singh, the 'Chief Minister's Hospital Rejuvenation Scheme' was reviewed. The meeting emphasized the development of Sadar Hospitals—in accordance with the Indian Public Health Standards 2022—as well as increasing their bed capacity and expanding modern amenities. The progress regarding the construction of a 200-bed super specialty block at Ranchi Sadar Hospital was also reviewed. Approval was granted for the renovation of hospitals across several districts. Discussions were also held regarding the establishment of a training center in Namkum and the setting up of cancer day-care units in all hospitals.
