Preparations for Census 2027 Intensify: Training for 70 Field Trainers Begins in Ranchi
A training program for 70 field trainers has commenced in Ranchi in preparation for the first phase (House Listing Operation) of Census 2027. Presided over by Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, the training session was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of a lamp. The training is being conducted in two batches—each spanning three days—at Block B of the Collectorate, featuring digital instruction delivered via the CMMS portal and a dedicated mobile application. Participants are receiving guidance on house listing procedures, data collection methodologies, and the effective utilization of the mobile app. These trained trainers will subsequently impart training to the enumerators. Emphasizing the critical importance of this exercise for development planning, the administration has urged all participants to ensure their active involvement.
