RANCHI: Three new judges—Justice Manoj Prasad, Justice Akhil Kumar and Justice Ram Sharma—took oath at the Jharkhand High Court on Monday. Chief Justice M.S. Sonak administered the oath.
All three judges were previously serving as Principal District and Sessions Judges in Garhwa, Sahibganj and Daltonganj respectively.
With their appointment, the total strength of judges at the Jharkhand High Court has increased to 16. The newly appointed judges also began hearing listed cases shortly after taking oath.
