Principal Secretary Sunil Kumar Accused of Indecorous Behavior; Babulal Marandi Outraged
Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi has issued a sharp reaction regarding the alleged indecorous and arrogant behavior of Sunil Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Road Construction Department, towards Manju Kumari, the BJP MLA from Jamua. He stated that the attitude of certain officials in the state has become dictatorial, and they have begun to treat even elected representatives as mere 'courtiers.'
Writing on social media, Marandi asserted that this incident constitutes an insult to democracy and the public mandate. He argued that any official who fails to recognize the dignity of an MLA cannot possibly accord respect to the common people.
He demanded that Chief Minister Hemant Soren take cognizance of the matter and initiate strict action against such unbridled officials. He warned that if corrective measures are not taken in a timely manner, the dignity of the administrative system itself will suffer serious repercussions.
