Officials Pay Tribute on Ambedkar Jayanti in Lohardaga
Lohardaga, April 14, 2026: On the occasion of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary, a tribute ceremony was organized at Ambedkar Chowk, located near the District Collectorate. Senior district officials—including Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tarachand, Superintendent of Police Sadiq Anwar Rizvi, and Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat—paid homage to Baba Saheb by garlanding his statue and offering floral tributes. Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner highlighted Ambedkar's thoughts and teachings, describing his contribution to the drafting of the Constitution as historic. Officials and employees from various departments, representatives of social organizations, and members of diverse sections of society were present in large numbers at the event.
