New Life for 101 Children: Major Identification of Congenital Heart Disease in Ranchi
Children suffering from congenital heart disease were identified during a two-day special health check-up camp organized at the Sadar Hospital in Ranchi. Held under the aegis of the National Health Mission, Jharkhand, the camp involved the examination and screening of a total of 305 children, of whom 101 were found to require surgery.
All 101 of these children will be referred to Amrita Hospital, Kochi, for advanced treatment, where they will undergo free heart surgery. A team of specialist doctors conducted the examinations during the camp.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Prabhat Kumar lauded the initiative as significant and extended his gratitude to the supporting team.
