Training Organized in Lohardaga for Census-2027
Lohardaga: A training program was organized in the Jharnet Conference Hall of the Collectorate with the objective of ensuring the success of the House Listing and Enumeration phase—the first stage of India's Census-2027. Deputy Commissioner-cum-Principal Census Officer, Dr. Tarachand, stated that this time the census will be conducted entirely through digital means, making data collection faster, more accurate, and secure. Real-time monitoring will enhance transparency in operations and accelerate the formulation of development schemes. He emphasized the need for Field Trainers to undergo thorough training themselves in order to effectively equip the enumerators and supervisors with the necessary skills. The training session provided detailed information regarding modern technologies, procedures, and data collection methodologies. Several officials, including Deputy Development Commissioner Dilip Pratap Singh Shekhawat, were present on the occasion.
